Questions

Is Hueristic free?

Yes. It’s free to download and use — no account, no ads, no subscription. There’s a daily limit on how many outfits you can check.

How does it decide whether my outfit’s colors work?

It scores three things: color harmony (do the colors sit well together), contrast balance (is the outfit flat, or too busy), and occasion fit (do the colors suit where you’re going). Those roll up into one score out of 100, with a verdict that names a real piece in the photo.

Will the same photo get the same score twice?

Yes. Checking a photo you’ve already run gives you the same score and the same verdict.

Are my photos stored?

No. Your photo is used only to generate your result and isn’t stored on our servers. Recent results stay in the app on your device. The privacy policy has the full detail.

What happens if the photo isn’t an outfit?

It tells you, instead of scoring it. Photos of pets, food or scenery don’t get an outfit score.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. Hueristic is an iPhone app today.
